  • 1 large cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • ¾ cup milk of choice
  • ½ cup flour (gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 cups panko (gluten-free if needed)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (can be light)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Chives or green onions for garnish
  • Black or white sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, milk, sweet paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Add cauliflower florets and toss until well coated.
  3. In a shallow bowl, place panko breadcrumbs. Coat each piece of cauliflower in panko and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray with oil.
  4. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While baking, mix mayonnaise, honey, sriracha, and rice vinegar in a small bowl to create the bang bang sauce.
  6. Once baked, toss the cauliflower with the sauce in a serving bowl and garnish with chives or green onions.
