  • 2/3 cup milk or non-dairy milk
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons dry active yeast
  • 1 tablespoon cane sugar
  • 2 3/4 cups gluten-free flour blend
  • 1/4 cup cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk until slightly warm. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and one tablespoon of cane sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour blend, remaining cane sugar, and sea salt.
  3. Add eggs and melted butter to the yeast mixture; whisk until combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until a smooth dough forms.
  5. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 60-90 minutes or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the loaf pan.
  7. Turn out dough onto a floured surface, shape into a loaf, and place in the prepared pan. Let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top. Allow cooling before slicing.
