  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, skirt, or flank), thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • ½ lb asparagus, cut into pieces
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 6 oz snow peas
  • Soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • Rice vinegar
  • Fresh orange juice
  • Honey
  • Cornstarch (or arrowroot powder)
  • Sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak by chilling and slicing it thinly against the grain.
  2. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat; stir-fry the steak until charred and cooked to medium rare.
  4. Remove steak and sauté carrots and asparagus for about 3 minutes.
  5. Add bell peppers and snow peas; stir-fry for another 3 minutes before stirring in garlic.
  6. Return the steak to the skillet along with the sauce; stir-fry until thickened.
