  • 1/2 cup hemp protein powder
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, hemp protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and maple syrup until blended, then add yogurt, vanilla extract, coconut oil, and almond butter; mix until smooth.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients gently using a spatula; fold in dark chocolate chips.
  5. Fill each donut cavity about 3/4 full and bake for 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
