  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp orange blossom water, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the syrup by simmering honey, water, sugar, and lemon juice for 10 minutes; let cool.
  2. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a springform pan.
  3. Layer buttered phyllo sheets in the pan; sprinkle with chopped pistachios and sugar.
  4. Mix cream cheese with sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream until smooth; pour over phyllo base.
  5. Top with more buttered phyllo sheets; fold edges to seal.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes until set; cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
