- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Prepare all ingredients by washing and chopping the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef for 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add broccoli and seasonings to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5–7 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Lower heat and stir in heavy cream and half of the cheddar cheese until creamy. Top with remaining cheese, cover, and let melt for 2–3 minutes.
