  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by washing and chopping the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef for 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add broccoli and seasonings to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5–7 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
  4. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream and half of the cheddar cheese until creamy. Top with remaining cheese, cover, and let melt for 2–3 minutes.
