  • 2 slices uncooked turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 ½ cup sliced white mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt (divided)
  • ⅛ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • ⅓ cup chicken broth
  • 3 ounces cream cheese (softened)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat avocado oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for about 5 to 7 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat and cook chopped turkey bacon until slightly browned.
  3. Add butter, garlic, and mushrooms; sauté until mushrooms are browned.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and stir in thyme and remaining salt. Increase heat to medium-high until bubbling.
  5. Stir in softened cream cheese until melted and thickened.
